Job Description

The ICT Service Delivery Administrator will be responsible for installing, managing, and maintaining the company’s ICT infrastructure. The role ensures systems comply with organizational standards and provides help desk support to staff, addressing hardware and software issues to enhance productivity and service efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support daily ICT operations, including staff helpdesk and terminal automation systems.
  2. Manage cloud tools and services (collaboration and productivity platforms).
  3. Roll out and monitor system and network security.
  4. Perform backups, hardware diagnostics, and optimization.
  5. Oversee ICT policies, compliance, audits, and preventive maintenance.
  6. Collaborate on major ICT projects like upgrades, migrations, and patching.
  7. Handle inventory and asset management of user equipment.
  8. Manage ICT vendors and contracts, and data center equipment.
  9. Liaise across departments and with external clients.
  10. Produce weekly management reports.
  11. Maintain ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.).

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field. 
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud computing and collaboration tools and environment
  • Networking and/or Cloud Computing certification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy ICT environment

KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows systems, and patch management.
  • Practical experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Skills in virtualization, cloud computing, and network integration.
  • Strong documentation, planning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication excellence.
  • Problem-solving, teamwork, independence, and flexibility.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous service improvement and innovation.
