Reach Stacker Operator

To operate assigned Mobile Equipment safely and efficiently as per set work plan to realize set performance targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate assigned machinery safely and efficiently, follow manuals, perform routine maintenance and inspections, and report any technical issues before use.

2. Participate in hazard identification and risk mitigation.

3. Transfer cargo/gear tools from one point to another as directed.

4. Transfer the equipment from the working area to the workshop for inspection and vice versa.

5. Adherence to Port and National traffic rules and regulations.

6. Checks fuel, water level in the tanks and arranges for a refill.

7. Communicates machine breakdown or technical faults to the supervisors.

8. Adherence to all safety rules and regulations, circulars and notices issued from time to time.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid driving license with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in operating machines from reputable driving school with a clean record.

2. A minimum of Kenya certificate of secondary education.

3. Mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.

1. Meet the set Ship discharge & cargo dispatch targets

2. Compliance with vehicle/plant/equipment operations regulations.

3. Timely & efficient response to operational incidents and accidents.

4. Timely and efficient completion of work.
