Technician -Electrical

Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and repairs/maintenance of plant equipment’s to achieve optimal utilization of resources required for operational efficiency to meet set targets as per plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Real-time monitoring of equipment’s during operation and providing prompt reports.

2. Trouble shooting faults related to control system with minimum delays / repairs and solve simple mechanical problems.

3. Reading, analyzing electrical schematics and interpreting technical procedures, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance work.

4. Examine and test electrical distribution on machines and equipment, using testing devices.

5. Perform general utility maintenance.

6. Install, maintain & repair electrical, electromechanical, and electronic parts of machinery/equipment’s (including input/output plc modules and process control equipment).

7. Comply with company and industry safety standards.

8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering such as Mechatronics, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Power.

• In lieu of the above, NTTC certificate in Electrical with at least 2-4 years of experience in an Industrial background and relevant experience in a reputable organization.

• A degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with relevant software applications, such as Auto cad, ArchiCAD, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.

• Knowledge of ISO standards (Energy, Environment, Quality & Occupational)
